Terbukti bahwa Bu Susi yang dianggap "tidak berpendidikan" oleh sebagian orang, malah ternyata adalah kuda hitam yang berhasil menarik perhatian banyak orang. Terbukti pula bahwa pendidikan tinggi bukanlah segalanya. Terbukti bahwa Tuhan selalu bekerja pada orang-orang yang dianggap remeh. Go Go Go Indonesian Government!

Yes of course I support her. I always prefer practical person to theoretical one :) And this lady is a good example of the practical person. She protects Indonesian maritime area against illegal fishing from other countries. She knows how to help Indonesian fishermen to have better life. I see, and what do you think about the demolition of foreign fishermen ship? don't you think it would benefit Indonesian fishermen if the government confiscate the ships and give it to them? it's always nice to see some progress from the new Indonesian government
I think the decision about demolition of foreign fishermen ships is based on "UU Perikanan". You can check it out on http://kkji.kp3k.kkp.go.id/index.php/dokumen/regulasi-hukum/undang-undang/undang-undang-kelautan-dan-perikanan ,and find "UU No.45 Tahun 2009 Tentang Perubahan atas UU No 31 Tahun 2004". You can read this statement : "(4) Dalam melaksanakan fungsi sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1) penyidik dan/atau pengawas perikanan dapat melakukan tindakan
khusus berupa pembakaran dan/atau
penenggelaman kapal perikanan yang berbendera asing berdasarkan bukti permulaan yang cukup."
It is written "tindakan khusus" which means actually you can do the confiscation to those ships as "tindakan umum". However, if our government decided to only confiscate the ships, other countries will have NO RESPECT to Indonesian government, because the punishment is just like that. Also, if our government confiscated those ships, which fishermen will get the benefit? It seems that only some fishermen will get the benefit, and it will make jealousy among other fishermen.
